RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. Purpose

This Return & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which customers may request a return, replacement, refund, or cancellation for products purchased from GJ India Import & Export International Pvt Ltd through our website or other authorized sales channels.

2. Eligibility for Returns

Customers may request a return or replacement where the product is received damaged, defective, incorrect, materially different from the product ordered, or otherwise qualifies under applicable law. Products must, where reasonably possible, be returned unused and in their original packaging, with labels, seals, accessories, invoices and other accompanying materials intact. Products that are opened, consumed, altered, damaged through customer misuse, or returned without required components may not qualify for a refund, subject to applicable consumer rights.

3. Non-Returnable / Restricted Products

For hygiene, safety, quality-control or regulatory reasons, certain products may not be eligible for return once opened or used. This may include consumable, food, health, personal-care, customized, made-to-order or sealed products, except where the item is defective, damaged, incorrectly supplied, or applicable law provides otherwise.

4. Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If a package arrives visibly damaged, customers are encouraged to photograph the outer package and product before opening or using it and contact us promptly. If an incorrect or damaged product is confirmed, GJ India Import & Export International Pvt Ltd may, at its discretion and subject to availability, arrange a replacement or provide an eligible refund.

5. How to Request a Return

To request a return or refund, contact our customer support team using the contact details published on our website. Please provide your order number, customer name, date of purchase, reason for the request, photographs or other evidence where relevant, and any other information reasonably required to verify the claim.

6. Return Shipping

Where the return is due to an error attributable to us, a confirmed damaged/defective product, or another circumstance for which we are responsible, reasonable return shipping costs may be borne or reimbursed by us. For customer-initiated returns that are not due to an issue with the product, return shipping may be the customer’s responsibility, subject to the terms shown at purchase and applicable law.

7. Inspection and Approval

Returned products may be inspected before a replacement or refund is approved. Inspection is intended to verify the condition of the product and the reason for the return. Approval of a return does not limit any statutory rights available to a consumer.

8. Refunds

Once a refund is approved, the eligible amount will generally be processed to the original payment method, where technically and legally possible. Processing time may vary depending on the payment gateway, bank, card issuer or other payment provider. Where the original payment method cannot be used, we may contact the customer to arrange an appropriate lawful alternative.

9. Refund Amount

Unless otherwise stated, an approved refund will cover the eligible amount paid for the returned product. Delivery charges, taxes, duties, transaction charges or return costs may be treated according to the reason for return, the applicable order terms, and applicable law. No deduction will be made where prohibited by applicable law.

10. Order Cancellation

Cancellation requests should be submitted as early as possible. If an order has not been processed or dispatched, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel it. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible and the customer may need to follow the applicable return procedure.

11. International Orders

For international orders, returns, refunds, customs duties, import taxes, shipping charges and other cross-border costs may be subject to the destination country’s laws and the agreed shipping terms. Unless expressly stated otherwise, customs duties, import taxes and similar charges imposed by the destination country are generally the customer’s responsibility and may not be refundable by us.

12. Failed Delivery / Refused Shipments

If a shipment is returned to us because of an incorrect address, repeated delivery failure, refusal to accept delivery, or failure to complete required customs formalities, any refund will be considered after applicable shipping, return, customs or other non-recoverable charges are assessed, subject to applicable law and the terms of the order.

13. Exchanges / Replacements

Where an eligible replacement is approved, the replacement will generally be dispatched after the returned product is received or after sufficient evidence is provided, as appropriate. Replacement availability is subject to stock. If a replacement is unavailable, an eligible refund or other appropriate remedy may be offered.

14. Exceptions and Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy is intended to exclude, restrict or waive any mandatory rights, remedies or protections available to consumers under applicable law. The policy will be interpreted consistently with applicable consumer-protection and e-commerce requirements.

15. Fraudulent or Abusive Claims

We reserve the right to investigate suspected fraudulent, duplicate, abusive or misleading return/refund requests and to take appropriate action permitted by law. This does not affect genuine consumer claims or statutory rights.
